A retry loop with no cap can burn through credits faster than support can react. A daily spend cap is a simple safety net that stops the bleeding automatically.
How caps work 🧮
Set a maximum amount of credits the account can spend in a calendar day. When the cap is hit, new requests fail with a clear error until the next day resets the counter.
Set yours in three clicks 🖱️
- Open Settings -> Spending -> Daily cap
- Enter the maximum credits per day
- Add an email or webhook alert so you know when it trips

What happens when the cap is hit?
Requests return a spend-limit error and you get an alert. The cap resets at midnight UTC.
Can I set different caps per token?
Currently the cap is per account, but per-token budgets are on the roadmap.
Will a cap ever block legitimate traffic?
Only if your real usage exceeds the cap — size it above your normal daily peak.
