Set Up the VPN on All Your Devices
WireGuard configuration is small and portable. You can install the official app on each device and import the config file or QR code, whether that is Android, iOS, Windows, macOS or Linux.

Recommended setup by device 💻
| Device | App | How to import |
|---|---|---|
| Android | WireGuard | Scan the QR code or import the file |
| iOS | WireGuard | Scan the QR code from the camera |
| Windows/macOS | WireGuard | Add tunnel and select the .conf file |
| Linux | wg-quick | Place the .conf in /etc/wireguard |
Respect the device limit 🔢
- Each plan includes a set number of simultaneous devices
- Use one profile per device where the plan provides them
- Disconnect an old device before adding a new one if you reach the limit
If it will not connect 🛠️
Check that the config was imported without edits, that the clock on your device is correct, and that another VPN is not already active. A handshake timeout most often means the profile is stale or the device limit is reached.
Frequently asked questions ❓
Can I share one config with a friend?
No. Configs are tied to your account and the plan device limit. Sharing breaks the no-logs promise and can get the profile disabled.
Which app should I use?
Use the official WireGuard app on every platform. It imports the same .conf or QR code.
Why does it say handshake timed out?
Usually a stale profile, a wrong device clock or an active second VPN. Re-import the config and try again.
How many devices can I use at once?
That depends on your plan. Check the plan details for the simultaneous device count.
